But the problem with social bookmarking is that it's often abused by some webmaster and the credibility goes down. Also, a lot of people tend to submit duplicate stuff. That's ruining the system. But if you use it responsibly and actually have good content it can bring good results.

True, but social bookmarking websites are making efforts to stop that with different ways, different features... I think a webmaster knows that a copy/paste content wouldn't bring him traffic so bookmarking it still useless
