Default After .com Which extension is best

I was wondering what everyone though was the best extension to use if a .com name you want is taken.

I'd go for .net or .org as it depends sometimes on th e content of the website..

Usually .net, then .org. After that, I would usually go for my countries TLD (ie. .co.uk for UK). Although, the .me seems very popular recently, and if your site is multimedia based then .tv is good

I think .org is probably the best extension after .com, with .net running a close second.

I would definately go with .org or .net but also dont rule out your country .co.uk or .es

For a UK based site, co.uk...

For any other site .net but if it's an organization than .org works well too.

And if it's just a hobby site then a .info might get the job done.
