Thread: How to resize picture?

To re-size a picture in forum, there are few plugins. I know vBulletin plugin.

You could try this free hack available at vbulletin.org:

This resizes images in post that are bigger than the set dimensions in your AdminCP options. It also adds an information bar (which is not displayed when the image isn't resized) giving information about the original dimensions and filesize. Filesize is only supported on Internet Explorer, other browsers don't reveal this information through javascript.

Note: This hack was developed to vB 3.7x based boards (if i'm not wrong you are running the 3.7.5 version), so if you need this for a newer version then i suggest you for searching another hack.

1. Upload "ncode_imageresizer.js" to the clientscript directory in your
vBulletin installation.

Directory or folder "clientscript" is a default folder vBulletin creates itself during the installation on your root. So it means the clientscript should be located at public_html -- clientscript (in case you use Cpanel).

So, its mean that I just double click on the script and its will auto install?sorry, I still confius and where is public_html?what is Cpanel?Is it at vbulletin option menu?again, sorry, I'm not too expert and still learning.Anyway, thanks for helping me out...

No, it will not install like this...

were is public_html?

It is directory in your web hosting account.

what is Cpanel?

Most used web hosting control panel. You can manage your site, email, database etc from cPanel.

Is it at vbulletin option menu?

None of these are cPanel options.

Do you have a vBulletin forum, and you want that all large images get resized to fixed size in posts ??
