Thread: Youtube now with 2GB upload limit

Youtube has increased file upload limit to 2 GB. Now you can upload upto 2 GB file.

yes, i realize this some days ago. however, it is still do not help much since they limited the uploaded video with max length 10 minutes

If the uploaded Video length is limited to just 10 mins then I guess the file size shall hardly be 100 MB upto a Max if it's DVD quality. I guess 2 GB is for one username. Not one file. What say?

nope, ravi is correct, 2gb is the limit of file size for each upload...
if you do not believe you can try go to upload page, it is stated there.

Who the hell on this earth shall try to upload a single file of 2 Gb ? The Youtube guys must have gone crazy to implement such an increase in Upload limit.

I guess they have a lot of empty GB's of hard Disk in their server. Am I wrong?

Looks like a gimmick by youtube, I don't see anybody uploading a file that size, they should increase the video length limit

i totally agree with that, who will upload a video of 2 gb with just 10 miniutes??
at first i wanted to upload a 1.2 gb video, however, it not accepted by youtube since my video is 20 minutes long.
