Are you interested to increase the speed of your Internet Explorer 8?... well the solution could sounds a joke but you can do it thanks to Google and in the particular thanks to Google...Chrome!. Recently Google released a plug-in for IeE 8 in order to make it faster (IE), according to some tests made by famous magazines "Computerworld" and PCWorld" Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) was 9.6 (let's say 10) times faster than IE8 on its own thanks to a new browser's WebKit rendering engine ( the one offered by Chrome) plus a new approach to the V8 JavaScript. Google released it in order to improve the support of IE to HTML 5 (useful in the case you need to use some advanced web based applications as Google Wave), i'm not sure if Microsoft likes this gesture

Google Chrome Frame is an early-stage open source plug-in that seamlessly brings Google Chrome's open web technologies and speedy JavaScript engine to Internet Explorer. With Google Chrome Frame, you can:
* Start using open web technologies - like the HTML5 canvas tag - right away, even technologies that aren't yet supported in Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8.
* Take advantage of JavaScript performance improvements to make your apps faster and more responsive.
Please note that this release could be considered as a Pre-Beta intended for developers and testing.
