That's weird to hear that XP is being updated. B/c yesterday I went to the store and I found out that XP is taken out of release. So all new computers run Vista only. How bad is that?

I haven't installed it. I've check on it and the enhanced functionality that I like best is the "Black Hole" Router Detection ; it detects routers that are silently discarding packets.

Jesus, why do people hate vista? It beats XP so big.
It's faster, better, uses less CPU, runs games better, has a nicer layout..

Everything.

XP won't get updated it anymore. Microsoft has taken it out of the market, and stopped releasing it.

I think I heard that Microsoft will continue to support XP till 2014.

I'm still on XP, but I've heard very few positive responses to Vista.

Maybe because people have bad thoughts of it?

You should try Assassin's Creed or any other new game.

Run it on XP with DirectX 9.0c and then try on a 64-Bit Vista with DirectX 10.

Tell me what you like best? DX10 is vista exclusive.

Now, try to run internet explorer on your vista.
Then run internet explorer on your XP.

Look at your CPU usage on both ? I bet you that Vista uses less.

I hated vista, because i heard so much negative about it.
Then my father's friend, who's a computer technician installed vista on my computer, and i've loved it ever since.

So, what you hear isn't always true.
