I was told Kazaa was no good, I can't remember why though.

I gave in and downloaded Limewire again, the newest version, so it shouldn't cause problems, but my computer has blocked 2 trojans from there. It also lags my computer really bad, and I found a corrupted file today. Luckily I found another music file though that I could use.

I wont be using it much, but I may need to at some point.

Yep, it's popular here in this house. It's the only system we use to download music then convert to a CD. And it's never been slow for me, pretty easy to navigate too.

Smile I think all are almost same

No matter which online file share software I use, I think on one point all are same, that is there's no guarantee for the file we download, it might contain virus inside, might have not, I'm not that sure... It's just a platform, anyone can upload the file he/she wants, and it's hardly possible for the platform to filtrate all the virus...

ya, it is the risk of file sharing, but maybe certain softwares have better reputation, then at least we can feel more secure.

Hi mrniceguy, I haven't thought of reputation would be helpful to judge the file's quality, hmm, now you just remind me about this, hehe... I did see there's some rate writen on the same line along with the file, didn't pay that much attention to it, now I think it's better I download the file with higher rate, hehe...
