I have a site, I got 'shelled' once. Thats the worst kind of hack.

It can do anything.

-What it is is a 'php' script that as soon as its uplaoded to server via whatever,

anyone who goes on the webby will see a new 'homepage' with lots of 'bad' options

Like delete My-SQl's etc.

I've had sites hacked before, and it's not fun. I've never had good servers until recently for another site I have, and haven't been hacked.

Actually I never got hacked because I'm a hacker :D I always fix the backdoors & the vuls before I publish my website for any security reasons, I need to protect my website in order to guarentee people trust.
I can offer websites security for everyone for cheap prices btw..
Anyways to protect your website from another way, there will be a new article on OWM blog about the bad neighbors Keep an eye there

It depends on the script running in your website, or if you have a custom programation it depends on the coder experience.. You need to be a hacker first to fix the vuls & the backdoors because there is lot of types, I don't think this is the place to talk about the hacking ways because it's considered as illegal content rofl
