Default The most common exploit?

What's the most common exploit from a network? What's the first hole in security I should be patching?

Well, your question is really complicate due as "network" i think you are talking about the web (Internet) so if yes the you should check these :

Red Hat Enterprise Linux

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/e...-exploits.html

http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/200...ss-filter.aspx

If for "network" you are asking about private intranets or private environments then pls provide exactly what are you asking for so i might help you (wich network).
