Exclamation Fake Pagerank ? PR checkers are only toys ?

    Hello,

Well I wanted to start this new thread, to talk about the fake PR..

Most of webmasters who don't know anything about it, got fooled many times in buying domain names that already have a PR.. Even my friend got fooled in buying a domain name has a PR3 with a high price, but it was a fake PR..

Ok, you may ask, I already checked the PR in many PR checkers sites and it says the same, well I'm telling you, from my own experience in this area, PR checkers are only toys they can't figure out the fake PR from the real PR..

So how to know if the PR is fake or real.. Wel I have a nice strategy to find out the fake PR..

Go to uncle google, and type, info:www.yousite.com

If it shows results (Your website) means the PR is real, if it doesn't show any results means the PR is fake, however how could a website have a PR3 or PR4 and it's not even indexed in google no way it must be fake!

Hope this tip will help you people!

    Regards,
    Iearn-Money

More tips to ensure a site is fake or not (according to PR).

Age of the site (a web registered as example 2 months ago can't be a real PR 4).

Number of backlinks (backlinks means popularity, popularity means traffic, and traffic means also PR).

Number of unique visitors (if a site gets a million visits a month but just a 1% of this million are unique visits, then be sure this site is paying for traffic, and paid visitors doesn't ensure a real PR.).

    Now add here your tips...;)

I think Fake PR rankings are becoming a bigger problem it seems. Those PR checkers are really not very accurate to say the least.

The traffic doesn't play an important role in the PR, the age of the domain and the backlines are important though, but the easiest way is to check if the domain name is indexed..

I may say that ALL of them are toys, because they can't figure out the fake PR, the only easy way to check it is to see the pages are indexed or not, because they couldn't be indexed and the domain has a PR4!

Hi Iearn-Money thanks for starting this thread, good tips, especially for me, an innocent person of page rank, haha... However, what is uncle google? Is it a web site? Where to find it? It might sound funny but I do have to ask, hehe...
