Nominated Post Bing or MSN search Engine?
I have a question. Do you prefer Bing.com or MSN.com as a search Engine? I say, MSN is much more better as it gives us distinct result than bing.com

What are your views?

Hmm, now I'm bit confused, Bing and MSN are not same things? I thought MSN search was the former Bing, haha! So Bing is some service bought or hired by microsoft company? It's something independant before? So MSN search is taken place by Bing search? Anyway I still use google as the main search engine. :)

There is no more MSN search engine.

If you open http://search.msn.com it will redirect you to bing.com

Also msn.com has Bing as seach engine on their homepage.

Hmm, I guess so, I see Bing search box in main page of MSN, so it's already taken place of MSN search... I have a question here, we would submit our links into Bing? Or it's not a directory at all, no need to submit anything? And MSN search is all gone? No need to do anything? URL submission etc.? :)

I guess they just changed the Domain name. Microsoft thinks that by simply changing the domain name they can gain a whole new platform in this Search Engine war. !! I am sure that MSN and Bing would have delivered the same results...!!

Ohh really? So you mean they are from same owner? Bing hadn't been present before MSN brought it into search bar? Isn't it? Hmm, I still think it's ok to remain as MSN search, since we've already got used to it, the matter they need to develop the service, to make it better, to beat other search engine like google, not that important to change the name...

Yes, the only aim Bing has is to overtake Google. But do you think it shall be easy for bing to overtake Google?

What are the features in which bing is lagging behind from Google?

Its is just too hard to overtake Google in search engine.....

Even if Bing gives better result than Google, than also it is very hard for Bing to take over Google.... and reason is people are just used of Google.

I guess it's not so easy to beat google, not impossible though... I still remember there was a time Yahoo was dominating search program, I was recommended Yahoo while studying internet in some course, only after couple of years I got to know google, and now it's already the top search engine online... So I guess it takes time, to move something from top, plus Bing must be able to provide service better than google, and it's also a hard work, isn't it? :)
