FoxyTunes is a browser extension which allows the user to control media players from the browser window. FoxyTunes works in Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, SeaMonkey, Mozilla Application Suite, Flock and Mozilla Thunderbird.
The extension supports the normal media player functions and displays currently playing track information. Additionally, the extension allows searching various Web sites to get images, videos, biographies etc. related to the music being played. On February 4, 2008, Yahoo announced that it had acquired FoxyTunes from the Israeli developers. http://www.foxytunes.com/ |

Hmm, so it's a plugin in firefox? Once it's installed, we can access Media Player from firefox? Is it something like Windows Media Player? We add songs into playlist, we click play button, then we'll be able to listen to music through firefox, is it right? :)

That's a good one when it comes to a back up support for other media players. But, I guess we can play almost all sort of music vedios or songs using Firefox or IE. I guess it is already pre-installed feature in these major browsers.

Java? It does slow down the computer, especially for backward computer...The computer I'm using in office, is very slow already, and when I open any page with java required, it's just dying with no move, haha! Anyway I'm still not that clear about what Foxytunes is, haha! :)
