Default how to install scripts in our site?

i saw so many scripts in many forums. how to install them in our site?plz help.

if you want to do it yourself then you should learn something about building a site.
i have a site and i do not need to update the script of it and what i do is only add some articles and change the ads codes in my site.

usually, when you buy a script, you will get tutorial text about how to install that script.

Yea....if you buy a script they should provide you a tutorial and support.
I will explain you shortly how to install a script:
First you have to upload the files on server (find a ftp client)
Then you have to import the database
And the last step...you have to edit the configuration file of the script wiht the good data(database host, database name, database user and pass)
Some scripts have an install.php file which helps you to install it faster :P

Always asked myself how to install a script, since I am thinking of having one in one of my 2 websites, but never tried to install it!

First, you have to have a script that you want to install.
Usually, the scripts come with notes on how to install them.
You'll have to ftp the files to your server and follow the installation guidelines.

usually i only change the content of my site, i only change a bit the script with dreamweaver.
